The Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps
Starting from Lindlingalm, the one-kilometer-long canopy walkway begins, including the impressive 200-meter-long “Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps.” In winter, you can traverse this path either on foot or with a horse-drawn sleigh through the enchanting winter landscape.
The Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps forms a captivating part of the canopy walkway, reaching up to 42 meters above the Talschluss, where the Saalach River originates. Crossing this bridge opens up breathtaking views of the snow-covered mountain peaks and the high ropes course, whose courses run alongside and below the bridge.
Canopy Walkway in Winter
The canopy walkway takes you over a distance of 600 meters, situated in the midst of snow-covered treetops, up to 30 meters above the ground. It features stairs, observation towers, platforms, and bridges.

Winter Opening Hours
During the winter season from December to the end of March, the Golden Gate Canopy Walkway opens its doors from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Treat yourself to a magical winter adventure and explore the snowy treetops in Saalbach Hinterglemm.
